This is a new location.   The best way to get there is off of HWY 35 W.  Do not assume you can go to the old location and simply drive around the lake. 

"You can't get there from here".  

However, you may park at the old location and paddle to the start (at the beach visible from the boat ramp) if you wish.

To drive to Long Lake Regional Park.

1) Start on 35W

2) Take exit 28A for Co. Rd. 96 (this is north of 694)

3) Go West on Co. Rd 96 for 0.2 miles

4) Turn South on Co Rd 77 (Old Hwy 8)

5) Continue south for 0.4 miles

6) Long Lake Regional Park Entrance will be on your right.

7) Follow sighns for 1.5 miles to the Beach.
